NYC Climate Week: Natural Capital, Tipping Points, and Systemic Risk
Are natural capital assets a natural hedge against the polycrisis? What role can central banks play in the development of this asset class? Could monetary policy include natural capital considerations? Who could assume the custodian role of natural capital assets?
Moderated by Frank Van Gansbeke, Beyond Bretton Woods held a panel discussion on systemic risks and the disconnect between financial market valuation and planetary realities. The distinguished panelists included Mark Campanale, Ralph Chami, Barbara Porco, and Sarah Bloom Raskin.
BBW introduced and staked its framework and intent during the Climate Action Lab sessions at the Glasgow COP26 proceedings. Since then BBW has continued to share its work at conferences, retreats, and seminars around the world. Take a look at our events for the year of 2025.
